The problem with abs machines
Do you regularly spend money on ab workout machines? It beats me why people love these gadgets so much. My guess would be that those smart informercials makes people think that its fun to use these machines.
I guess some of these machines could make exercising more fun. Of course any exercise requires discipline, and that’s the problem. Yes, I’d say this goes for any fitness machine or equipment. And we all know most people severely lack exercise discipline.
This is one of the reasons that you’ll find these machines stashed away in an attic somewhere more often than you’ll actually see them being used. People buy into the results they might get. Those models and celebrities advertising these things sure look good, and all it takes is 10 minutes a day! Not to mention that the new healthy diet you’ll need to follow is only mentioned in passing if at all on the infomercial.
We all know it doesn’t work like that in the real world. Soon enough there will be a better machine promoted by better looking models that will have people reaching for their credit cards. Guess what happens? Out with the old, in with the new. Just like with fad diets, people just bounce from one machine to the next.
My advice: forget about these silly machines and find a proper ab workout and exercise routine for your abs. If you cannot stick to a normal workout, you’re probably not going to stick to a regular schedule with some machine.
It’s all about discipline and patience when it comes to building abs. Results won’t come overnight, and they won’t come easy. Accept that and get serious about your ab exercise routine. abs machines simply aren’t worth the trouble, just forget about it.
Find the best abdominal exercises, and really dig into them. You don’t need to do it every single day. Work out a routine for just 3 days a week. Then just keep doing it. That’s how you’ll get results.
